The project takes place in the Ebro River Basin, where 92% of the available water is used for agriculture in a context of water scarcity. Many farmers irrigate without the proper information or technology, leading to inefficient water use. The initiative improves irrigation practices through technical support and irrigation recommendations provided by our technology. This promotes more efficient and sustainable water management.

The farming community of Curacaví faces significant inefficiencies in water use due to a traditional irrigation system based on open canals, resulting in high losses from infiltration and runoff. That is why Agua Segura has led the project to rehabilitate a water storage pond and line the irrigation canals, incorporating Agrow’s technology and thereby significantly reducing water losses caused by infiltration.
